Smith Magazine
Smith Magazine is a U.S.-based online magazine devoted to storytelling in all its forms. Smith's content is participatory in nature, and the magazine welcomes contributions from all its readers. The magazine has made a name for itself with its original graphic novel projects Shooting War, A.D.: New Orleans After the Deluge, and Next Door Neighbor; and with its series of Six-Word Memoirs projects. Most of these projects have since gone from web to print publication, from such publishers as HarperCollins, Pantheon, and Grand Central Publishing.
History
Smith was founded January 6, 2006 — National Smith Day — by writer/editor Larry Smith and designer Tim Barkow. Previous to launching Smith, Larry Smith was articles editor of Men’s Journal, and has been the executive editor of Yahoo! Internet Life, and senior editor at ESPN Magazine, and a founding editor of P.O.V. and Might magazines. Tim Barkow is a former editor at Wired and the online general manager at Portland Monthly.
The site focuses on "personal media": blogs, memoirs, diaries, viral videos, social networks, "the mash-up between the professional and the amateur, and art projects rooted in personal. It’s all about the highly personal take on everything." Since its 2006 launch, Smith has been heralded as “a vision for the future of populist storytelling,” “a gigantic cocktail party to which everyone is invited to come, listen, and contribute their own personal stories," and “the pulse of today’s cultural narrative."

Smith (Martian crater)
Smith Crater is an impact crater in the Mare Australe quadrangle of Mars, located at 66.1°S latitude and 102.9°W longitude. It is 75.5 km in diameter and was named after William Smith (1769-1839), an English geologist, and the name was approved in 1973 by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature (WGPSN).

Fixing the 10 rd Smith and Wesson M&P; magazine
The Canadian 10 round limited magazines used to work fine, then S&W; changed the follower and Canadians realised they couldn't easily get 10 rounds into the mag and then couldn't seat it easily in the pistol. This fix seems to work. I haven't function tested the pistol but I don't see why there would be any further feeding issues.

This is a magazine kit for the Smith & Wesson M&P22; Compact pistol that allows you to get more rounds in the factory magazine. This kit is not permanent and can be installed in a matter of minutes. You can easily convert your magazine back to it's factory configuration if you ever have the need or you move to a location like California that does not allow these parts.
The kit is comprised of an aluminum basepad, magazine spring, Hi-Viz NicTaylor follower and a hex wrench for attaching the basepad to the magazine tube. Once you disassemble your factory magazine you will only use the magazine tube. Install the follower, compress the included magazine spring and slide on the basepad. Take the included hex wrench and finger tighten the set screw on the bottom of the basepad. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

This is a magazine kit for the Smith & Wesson M&P22; Compact pistol that allows you to get more rounds in the factory magazine. This kit is not permanent and can be installed in a matter of minutes. You can easily convert your magazine back to it's factory configuration if you ever have the need or you move to a location like California that does not allow these parts.
The kit is comprised of an aluminum basepad, magazine spring, Hi-Viz NicTaylor follower and a hex wrench for attaching the basepad to the magazine tube. Once you disassemble your factory magazine you will only use the magazine tube. Install the follower, compress the included magazine spring and slide on the basepad. Take the included hex wrench and finger tighten the set screw on the bottom of the basepad. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

These magazine modifications are for the Smith & Wesson M&P; 22LR pistols. With the magazine upgrade on the full sized version, you can get 15 rounds in the magazine. With the Compact M&P; version you get 13 rounds over the factory 10. This modification is not permanent and easily instals by removing the factory follower, spring and spring retainer. Insert the Shockbottle follower, new spring and the included spring retainer and slide on the factory basebad.
Please note that with the shockbottle follower, you will loose the slide lock to open on the last shot fired (the slide will not lock back on an empty mag upon firing the last shot).

The Canadian 10 round limited magazines used to work fine, then S&W; changed the follower and Canadians realised they couldn't easily get 10 rounds into the mag and then couldn't seat it easily in the pistol. This fix seems to work. I haven't function tested the pistol but I don't see why there would be any further feeding issues.
